According to data released by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), there were 3,035 real estate transactions worth Dh10.7 billion in the week ending March 31, 2023.
The DLD report said 158 plots of land were sold for Dh1.27 billion, while sales of flats and villas stood at 2,261 for a total of Dh5.11 billion.
The top three sales were a plot of land in Al Khairan First worth Dh157.08 million, a plot of land in Island 2 worth Dh67 million and a plot of land in The World Islands worth Dh59 million.
Al Hebiah Region 5 recorded the most transactions this week with 52 sales transactions worth Dh165 million.
This was followed by Madinat Hind District 4 with 21 sales transactions worth Dh26.78 million and Jabal Ali District 1 came in third with 14 sales transactions worth Dh60 million.
The top three transfers of flats and villas were an Dh82 million villa, a Dh57 million flat and a Dh55 million flat in Palm Jumeirah.
The value of mortgaged properties this week was AED 3.8 billion. Meanwhile, 123 properties were gifted between first-degree relatives, valued at Dh597 million.
