Dubai - A total of 3,332 real estate transactions worth Dh12.9 billion were carried out in the week ending 10 March 2023, according to figures released by the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The DLD report showed that 274 plots of land were sold for Dhs3.17 billion, while sales of 2,370 flats and villas totalled Dhs4.93 billion.
The top three deals were for a plot of land in Al Khairan First for Dh1.57 billion.
This was followed by a Dh72 million plot of land in Wadi Al Safa 3 and another plot of land worth Dh1.57 billion in Al Khairan First.
Al Hebiah 5th recorded the most transactions this week, with 117 sales transactions worth Dh320.97 million.
This was followed by Jabal Ali District 1 with 40 sales transactions worth Dh115.16 million and Madinat Al Mataar with 22 sales transactions worth Dh83 million.
The top three transfers of flats and villas were: a villa in Palm Jumeirah sold for Dh65 million, a flat in Island 2 worth Dh65 million and a flat in Burj Khalifa sold for Dh49 million.
Mortgaged properties were valued at Dhs4.12 billion this week, while 267 properties worth Dhs759 million were awarded between first-degree relatives.
