A total of 3,186 real estate transactions worth more than Dh9.1 billion were recorded in the week ending December 9, 2022, according to data released by the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The DLD report showed that 419 plots of land were sold for Dh2.24 billion, while 2,233 apartments and villas were purchased for Dh4.64 billion.
The top three deals were a plot of land in Marsa Dubai for Dh265.69 million.
This was followed by a plot of land in World Islands for Dh64.16 million and a plot of land in Palm Deira for Dh38 million.
Al Hebiah District 5 was the most traded area this week, with 200 sales transactions worth Dh621.52 million.
This was followed by Jabal Ali District 1 with 79 transactions worth Dh255.32 million and Al Yufrah District 2 with 25 transactions worth Dh32 million.
The top three transfers of apartments and villas were a 54 million dirham apartment, a 50 million dirham apartment and a 37 million dirham apartment, all in Jumeirah II.
The value of mortgaged properties this week was Dh1.75 billion, the highest being a plot of land in Me'Aisem First with a mortgage value of Dh360 million.
Meanwhile, 129 properties were granted between first-degree relatives, worth Dh500 million.
