DUBAI - A total of 3,267 real estate and property transactions worth a total of Dh10 billion were carried out in Dubai during the week ending 24 February 2023, according to the Dubai Land Department's (DLD) weekly report.
Of these transactions, 168 plots were sold for Dh1.26 billion, while 2,230 flats and villas were sold for Dh5.14 billion.
The top three deals involved land in Um Suqaim's second district for Dh116 million, a plot of land in the Satwa area for Dh79 million, followed by a plot of land in Al Thanayah for Dh70 million.
Al Hibiya District 5 recorded the most transactions during the week, with 68 sales transactions worth Dh198.49 million.
This was followed by Al Hibiya IV with 26 sales transactions worth Dh264.5 million and Jabal Ali I with 18 sales transactions worth Dh66 million.
In terms of flats and villas, the top three transfers involved a property in Al Nahda First for Dhs125 million, another property in Al Thanayah Fourth for Dhs42 million and a flat in Palm Jumeirah for Dhs36 million.
The total amount of mortgaged properties during the week was Dh3.01 billion, the highest being a flat in Palm Jumeirah with a mortgage of Dh1 billion.
In addition, 434 properties were granted between first-degree relatives with a total value of Dh670 million.
