DUBAI - A total of 2,786 real estate transactions worth more than Dh8.4 billion took place in the week ending 27 January 2023, according to figures released by the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The DLD report showed that 285 plots of land were sold for Dh1.7 billion, while 2,043 flats and villas were purchased for Dh4.43 billion.
The top three deals were a plot of land in Al Safouh Second for Dh140 million, a plot of land in Al Thanyah Fifth for Dh122.5 million and another plot in Al Safouh Second for Dh140 million.
Al Hebiah Fifth recorded the most sales transactions this week, with 135 deals worth Dh415.3 million.
This was followed by Al Yufrah 1 with 56 deals worth Dh332 million and Al Yufrah 2 First with 20 deals worth Dh22 million.
The top three transfers of flats and villas included one in Palm Jumeirah worth Dh86 million, another in Al Bada worth Dh49 million and a flat in Al Mezhar First worth Dh40 million.
The value of the mortgaged properties reached Dh1.56 billion this week. At the same time, 60 properties were granted between first-degree relatives, worth Dh784 million.
