In the real estate sector, Dubai South Properties (DSP) made significant strides. They successfully delivered the first phase of the Pulse Villas project, comprising 268 units, and also sold out the first three phases of the South Bay project.
The South Bay project encompasses over 800 villas, townhouses, and more than 200 luxurious beachfront homes, along with a 1-kilometer-long lagoon and a 3-kilometer-long beachfront promenade. These achievements not only showcase DSP's prowess in real estate development but also provide residents of Dubai South with high-quality living options.
In addition to its success in real estate, Dubai South has made significant progress in social infrastructure development. A large supermarket spanning 50,000 square feet and a community park with children's play areas and activity zones have opened, providing residents with convenient lifestyle services. Furthermore, Dubai South has initiated the construction of the first British curriculum school, offering local children access to quality education resources.
In the logistics sector, Dubai South Logistics District has also achieved remarkable milestones. Collaborative agreements, including partnerships with dnata to implement digitally driven gate control mechanisms at cargo terminals and a comprehensive framework agreement with Beijing New Aero-City Holdings Limited, along with a memorandum of understanding with China Merchants Group's subsidiary and Sinotrans, signify the establishment of their first Middle East logistics and e-commerce hub in the Dubai South Logistics District.
Additionally, hosting several inauguration ceremonies, including the Audi Volkswagen Middle East and Africa Distribution Center, the IDA Foundation's healthcare center, and Amazon's new fulfillment center, stands as another noteworthy achievement. These projects will bring more business opportunities to Dubai South and further drive the local economy's development.
H.E. Khalifa Al Zaffin, Chairman of Dubai South, attributed this remarkable progress to the government's numerous initiatives aimed at promoting the economic development of the emirate and their meticulous planning.
