There were 3,050 real estate transactions worth Dh10.4 billion in the week ending May 5, 2023, according to figures released by the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The DLD report showed that 189 plots of land were sold for Dh1.19 billion and 2,239 flats and villas were sold for Dh5.11 billion.
The top three deals were a plot of land in Al Thanayah's fourth district, which sold for Dh52 million.
This was followed by a plot of land in Saih Shuaib's second district for Dh40.62 million and third was a plot of land in Palm Deira for Dh35.36 million.
Al Hebiah District 5 recorded the most transactions this week with 63 sales transactions worth Dh188.2 million.
This was followed by MADINAT HIND 4 with 22 sales transactions valued at Dh29.01 million and Jabal Ali District 1 came in third with 16 sales transactions worth Dh58 million.
The top three transfers of flats and villas were a flat in Al Merkadh sold for Dh90 million, a flat in Jumeirah Second sold for Dh78 million and third was a flat in Burj Khalifa sold for Dh67 million.
The total amount of properties mortgaged this week was Dh3.69 billion, the highest being a plot of land in Al Barshaa South Third for Dh653 million. 110 properties were granted between first-degree relatives and were valued at Dh497 million.
