Abstract: Three-dimensional design depends on four main points, namely the family budget, the size of the land, the number of family members and their needs, and the nature of the family's social life.

There are three aspects to pay attention to in home planning, including architecture, construction and services.

The building plan involves following up on the total floor area that fits the family budget, taking into account the solar trend, especially the landscape, the degree of the entrance and whether the family needs a slope.

The architectural plan also involves such things as the allocation of a place for shoes at the entrance, whether there is a separate entrance from the hall, whether there is a proper view, whether the proper space for the bathroom and the distribution of the sanitary kit are known, whether there is enough space for the bedrooms and the clothes of the people who will use them.

As well as knowing in advance the size of the workers' room, laundry room, ironing room and kitchen, determining the dining area for the family, the sitting room should be designed according to the number of people in the house and the number of guests.

If the family needs, an office and a children's room should be allocated.

As for the building plan, the location and size of the columns must be decided by the engineer and the family.

As for the service plan, the location of the main switchboards, air conditioning, interior and exterior lighting, overhead water tanks and other amenities must be decided with input from the family.

UAE nationals who have worked in the UAE for at least 15 years and lived there for at least 10 years can apply to the government for a loan of between Dh500,000 and Dh2.25 million to purchase a house or plot of land to build a home.

They can then find a contractor and the ideal plan for their home.

This loan must be repaid for the rest of their lives, but can sometimes be waived if a directive is issued.

Usually, these directives exempt retired or low-income Emiratis.

Loans are allocated by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, another program that is run by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.

The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority says on its website that it is also working to expand the beneficiary base of financial allocations to enable citizens with lower incomes to receive loans of Dh1.25 million.
