Abstract: Roar has now completed over 84 projects, including the SensAsia Spa at the Kempinski Hotel in Dubai, offices for McKinsey & Company, a future nursery, and a series of luxury private residences.

Anas Bukhash's home in Dubai is one of the most stunning contemporary mansions. The villa was designed by Pallavi Deen of ROAR.

From its beginnings as a contemporary mansion in the Mediterranean Malibu style, it took 7 years to recreate into an avant-garde minimalist home.

Located in a modern and quiet home in Dubai, the homeowner endured seven years of various delays before Pallavi Dean, founder and creative director of Dubai-based architectural interior design studio Rora, completed his dream home.

Initially, the building consisted of many arches and looked more Mediterranean in style, the final 400 square meter house is more edgy and minimalist with a distinctly modern feel.

The building's facade, including the soaring front door, is composed almost entirely of glass, maintaining an open layout and giving a sense of warmth inside.

A concrete patio, palm trees and bushes surround the house, and Michael Anasstasiades designed an understated ring light for Flos that hangs from the ceiling near the foyer.

An olive tree becomes the visual centerpiece of the open living space, with lush views of the outdoors from the interior to the black metal-edged glass windows.

Clean lines, flowing spaces, and plenty of natural light become the most comfortable elements of the space.

Hay sofas, Moroso smocked chairs, and tiered rugs undercut the hard visual feel of the space. dada kitchen units with Silestone countertops and custom fixtures extend the full length of the island deck.

The curves of the bathroom contrast with the rest of the interior. A striking concrete-effect ceramic bathtub fills the space with imagery, and its freestanding form adds to the interior's minimalist feel.
