Abstract: The projects reflect the architecture of the Greek islands by taking inspiration for their design and names from Santorini and Mykonos, two popular Greek islands off the coast of the Aegean Sea.

UAE - Following the announcement of 12 new real estate projects, UAE-based developer Samana has launched its first two projects - Santorini and Mykonos - within Dubai Studio City.

The projects have been designed and named to reflect the architectural style of the Greek islands by taking inspiration from Santorini and Mykonos, two popular Greek islands off the coast of the Aegean Sea.

UAE-based developer Samana has launched two new projects - Santorini and Mykonos - within Studio City Dubai.

The design and names of the new projects are inspired by two popular Greek islands - Santorini and Mykonos in the Aegean Sea.

The A$150 million (US$41 million) Samana Santorini will cover 193,927 square feet and feature 157 flats, including studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom flats with private pools.

Key amenities at this G+4 residential development include an infinity pool, relaxing pool deck, lap pool, children's pool, private pool and other water features, in addition to green areas, a health club, Jacuzzi, steam room, children's play area, outdoor cinema, BBQ area, valet parking and 27/4 security.

At the start of 2023, the Samana developer announced a bullish outlook for 2022 and plans to launch 12 new projects, including five-star properties, this year.

Santorini and Mykonos are the first two of the 12 projects planned for this year, its senior official said.

"We promise new concepts and we make them a reality. That's what we promise every time. Just like our trend-setting private pool and resort lifestyle concepts in residential flats, we will create an island design and feel in our new projects," said its CEO Imran Farooq.

"The explosion of Covid-19 prompted us to go for island design that allows people to live in a healthy and sustainable environment. In the design of our Santorini and Mykonos projects, we have incorporated environmental features to make the projects healthy, sustainable and energy efficient," Farooq said.

"At Samana Mykonos, we added extensive water features, green spaces and solar panels for internal power generation. In addition, we have created an island-style living where water, fresh air and plantations will be plentiful. Island living is a new concept in Dubai real estate that European buyers love and feel at home in," he added. Samana Santorini is scheduled for delivery in April 2025.

The Dhs170 million Samana Mykonos is the second project in Dubai Studio City. 197,430 square feet of space and 198 units are available in G+5's Mykonos residential development.

Mykonos features a full range of amenities, from valet parking to relaxation decks, swimming pools to Jacuzzis, solar panels, rooftop theatres and private pools for all flats, the development has everything you could desire in a luxury property.

Samanamikonos is scheduled for delivery in July 2025.

To bring more value to investors, the Samana developer says it has introduced new income-generating facilities for homebuyers. It adds that buyers can convert their flats into holiday homes and sublet them to tourists and visitors.
