UAE-based Azizi Developments said it ended 2022 on a strong note, having sold a total of more than 6,000 units worth Dh5.6 billion (US$1.52 billion) and is now preparing to hand over 11,000 units in 45 projects in Dubai later this year.
These include Phases I, II and III at Riviera, Park Avenue I, II and III at MBR City and Berton at Al Furjan.
With 28.4 million man-hours of construction and over 167,000 cubic metres of concrete poured, Azizi has developed over 152 floors and 3.51 million square feet of floor space in 2022, the developer said.
During the year, Azizi completed the first seven buildings of Riviera, a French Mediterranean-style waterfront living community in MBR City, and Creek Views I, a 634-unit residential condominium in Dubai Healthcare City.
With Riviera quickly selling out, Azizi has launched Park Avenue III, the fourth phase of Riviera, the most distinguished and luxurious Rêve, and Beach Oasis, two commercial residential towers with 712 units nestled around a beach-like swimming pool, in MBR City.
The Dubai-based developer said one of the group's major achievements in 2022 was the acquisition of a coveted site on Sheikh Zayed Road, on which it will soon launch the second tallest building in the UAE.
In addition, Azizi signed an agreement with Dubai South to acquire a prominent 15 million square foot site with a total GFA of 24 million square feet, where it will be the master developer and plans to launch the entire city including villas, townhouses, residences and other major amenities.
On the year's achievements, Chief Executive Officer Farhad Azizi said.
"With our record-breaking sales and construction pace, this has been an exciting year for us at Azizi. As a catalyst for the UAE's real estate landscape, vision and growth, we will continue to add value, develop homes with a difference, set the standard for contemporary architectural design and quality, and empower investors and end users with an unparalleled, enriched lifestyle."
"2023 looks promising with Phases 1 and 2 of our mega project Riviera almost 100 per cent sold out and two other phases progressing at a rapid pace, with several other projects due for completion in the coming months," Azizi said.
We value the support of our stakeholders and appreciate their contribution in taking our projects from conceptualisation to reality, he added.
