The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera), the regulatory body of the Dubai Land Department (DLD), has launched a new guide to educate real estate brokers on the procedures and enhance their professional competence.
The 'Real Estate Brokerage Practice Guide' was launched at the recent Cityscape Dubai 2022 Expo held with the DLD at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The guide includes all information, laws and procedures related to the brokerage profession and ways to practice in Dubai, thus ensuring that they conduct real estate transactions in a healthy and transparent manner, DLD said in a statement.
The guide highlights laws, procedures and regulations including the Trakheesi system, the Dubai REST app, smart marketing and sales contracts, as well as classification criteria for brokers and agents, the Green List, marketing mechanisms for unplanned projects, amicable settlements and obtaining broker cards.
It also looked at the registration of real estate brokers in Dubai, some real estate circulars and ethics in practice, it said.
Ali Abdullah Al Ali, director of Rera's real estate licensing department, said." Today, with this guide, we provide a comprehensive service to real estate brokers to help them fully and comprehensively understand the concept of practicing in Dubai according to the best standards, thus contributing to our journey to increase the happiness and confidence of investors and clients in Dubai's real estate environment."
"We have been keen to ensure that our services are professional and of high quality for the sake of building a pioneering and sustainable real estate ecosystem, the effects of which are reflected in all sectors of stakeholders, including investors, clients and brokers," he added.
