The Abu Dhabi government has announced the issuance of housing loans and waiver of loan repayments for retirees and families of deceased mortgagors worth a total of Dh10 billion, benefiting more than 10,000 citizens.

On the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has ordered the release of housing loans.

Families of 10,032 low-income retirees and deceased mortgagors in Abu Dhabi are exempted from repaying the loans, with a total value of Dh10 billion.

The housing package, which coincides with the celebration of the UAE's 50th National Day, reflects the leadership's commitment to ensuring social stability and enabling citizens to raise strong, stable families that will benefit the future of the UAE.
