Abstract: VSHD Design, founded by Rania Hamed in 2007, specializes in residential and commercial spaces and has left a legacy of great projects and award-winning designs around the world.

When it comes to Dubai design, it's all described in terms of luxury and extravagance, but the work of Dubai-based firm VSHD Design, which we're introducing today, is quite different.

VSHD's projects are based on a strong design philosophy and a strong attention to detail, with a knack for giving spaces an elegant and timeless aesthetic with minimalist lines and changes in light and shadow.

The Burj Residence

Located in one of Dubai's busiest residential areas, the client required a high level of privacy with plenty of natural light.

VSHD designn accordingly created an L-shaped residence of 1600 m².

Here, customers can enjoy beautiful views of the pool and lush gardens while maintaining privacy.

Vertical wood slats enrich the architectural appearance and strike a balance between privacy and light.

All openings are equipped with open windows and doors, and large glass panels have slender linear profiles that create a visual connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The interior is decorated with large areas of white and black, and the abundance of natural materials creates a sense of understated luxury, as if one were in an art museum.

The whole presents a sense of clean and dry lines, and the modern flowing furniture adds spirit to the house.

No matter what space you are in, you can feel the light of spirituality, truly defining the luxury of simplicity.

The Florida Ranch

This 2044 m² luxury residential project presents a modern Mediterranean style. Seemingly simple, it has a unique elegant charm, giving people a feeling of returning to the basics.

The designer combined architecture with nature, with bare wooden beams reflecting the original structure and black metal elements adding some industrial feel.

Large windows bring light into the room without reservation, and the whole space feels very transparent.

The arches match the matte black oak door frames, echoing the other details in the house.

The design team set up a vibrant atrium space in the center of the house, connecting the master bedroom to the living room.

A side hallway with B&B Italian rattan chairs creates a pleasant reading area.

The light gray marble flooring gives a strong modern touch to the connecting part between the interior and exterior.

In the living room, naturally textured hardwood floors add warmth. The other living room has a gray arched back wall with brick lines, a Crown Major chandelier, a LIVING DIVANI sofa, and a Cassina edge that combine to create a vintage texture.

The master bedroom is visually enriched by an understated yet rich backdrop, and the white façade maintains an overall modern feel.

A freestanding bathtub with a double sink with custom mirror in the center of the bathroom and a pendant light by Lindsey Adelman vividly portray elegance.
