Abstract: Meeting the needs of every Emirati family through housing schemes and social services is a top priority for the government.

With land allocated for 4,610 Emiratis, a new housing scheme worth Dh6.3 billion has been approved for Emiratis in Dubai.

The fund will be used to provide housing and land allocations for 4,610 Emiratis in the city as part of the Dubai Citizen Housing Program.

The scheme was approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in time for Eid al-Fitr.

Under the plan, 1,110 houses will be allocated in Al Khawaneej 2 and 3,500 plots in Umm Nahad 4 and Al Aweer districts.

Giving Emiratis a decent life is the biggest goal for which all government departments and authorities work and are keen to provide comprehensive social support to ensure a decent life for Emirati citizens and their families.

"The housing file is a priority and providing a decent life is a right of Emiratis, while the goal is to provide a new integrated vision for the housing file.

In 2021, Sheikh Mohammed approved the allocation of Dh65 billion to Dubai's Emirati Housing Program, a budget that will be used to provide quality housing for citizens over the next 20 years.

Quadrupling the number of citizens benefiting from the housing program starting next year and increasing the number of plots allocated to Dubai's Emirati Housing Program to 1.7 billion square feet will meet the needs of citizens for the next 20 years.

The Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040 sets out a comprehensive future map for the city's sustainable urban development.
