Abstract: Over 5,000 votes cast in the first 24 hours

Launched by Betterhomes' PRIME, Dubai's Top 50 Homes is an awards ceremony celebrating creative achievements in architecture and interior design.

There are a number of design categories that will be judged by a prestigious panel of industry experts, as well as a 'People's Choice Award' - an invitation for the public to vote for their favourite homes.

Public voting took place on 13 March at 1pm via our website www.top50homes.com. Within the first 24 hours, over 5,000 votes had been cast worldwide.

Richard Waind, Group Managing Director of PRIME by Betterhomes, said: "This is an exciting competition that is an industry first. We have created a platform for people from all over the world to see inside some of the most luxurious homes in Dubai.

The Dubai Top 50 Homes competition saw votes from North America, Australia, Asia, Africa and much of Europe, putting Dubai at the forefront of innovative architecture and state-of-the-art interior design.

The Palm Jumeirah, a hotspot for high net worth buyers, unsurprisingly received the most nominations for Dubai's Top 50 Homes.

Over the past year, Dubai's high-end real estate prices have soared by 89% due to an influx of high net worth buyers, boosting the market. This surge has led to unprecedented sales of ultra-luxury properties priced at over US$10 million.

Dubai Marina had the second highest number of nominations, followed by Nad Al Sheba, Jumeirah Islands, Emirates Hills and Dubai Hills.

Despite the global trend, Dubai's luxury property market has shown significant resilience, with Betterhomes' PRIME witnessing 65% of luxury transactions (over AED 10 million) in January and February compared to 2022.

Richard Waind said, "With so many amazing homes nominated, we are very excited to see which home will win the People's Choice Award. We are confident that the winner will truly deserve the accolade".

PRIME by Betterhom is expected to receive over 100,000 votes from around the world and voting will continue until 12pm on April 10.
