Abstract: 400 units successfully sold with huge interest from investors, buyers and end-users

Dubai South Properties has announced the launch of South Bay Phase III, a 400-unit development located in the heart of the residential area off Expo Road in Dubai South, following the successful sale of the first two phases.

Phase 3 features more than 200 villas and townhouses, including three- and four-bedroom townhouses, four- and five-bedroom semi-detached villas, and five-, six- and seven-bedroom detached beachfront mansions. The townhouses and semi-detached villas will have upgraded interiors with marble floors, built-in fully equipped kitchens, glass handrails, roof access (sky gardens), and will all include private outdoor gardens. In addition, the new phase is strategically located at the center of the South Bay master plan, with the widest lagoon views, close to the clubhouse and fitness center, and also connected to the central park, visible from the villas and mansions.

The townhouses and villas in South Bay are larger than most premium properties in Dubai and the units are priced among the most competitive in the market. Interested buyers can take advantage of attractive payment plans of 50% during construction, 20% at handover and 30% within two years of completion.

Once completed, South Bay will have over 800 villas and townhouses, over 200 waterfront mansions, a 1 km long crystal lagoon, over 3 km of waterfront promenade, multiple beaches, clubhouse, fitness center and parks. Other amenities include a shopping mall, renowned spa, children's club, water park, swimming pool, waterfront café, and lakefront park.

Nabil Al Kindi, CEO of Dubai South Properties, said: "Since the launch of South Bay, we have witnessed tremendous interest from buyers and end-users, resulting in the successful sell-out of the first two phases. The project's value-added state-of-the-art amenities ensure an exceptional lifestyle for residents of South Bay and South Dubai, and we will continue to enrich the real estate industry with unique developments that contribute to our wise leadership's vision of making Dubai the best city to live, work and visit."

Dubai South Properties, which appointed Ginco General Contractors earlier this month, has already begun work on the initial phase of the development.

Other facilities in the residential area include a school, which announced earlier this year that it will adopt the UK curriculum and will begin enrollment by the end of this year, as well as public parks, sports fields, retail stores, the Lulu hypermarket that opened in March this year, a mosque, a gas station and a public bus line connecting the residential area to the Expo Metro station. The residential area of Dubai South is currently home to over 25,000 residents.
